Director, Catering Sales

We are searching for an experienced Director of Catering Sales for Benaroya Hall in Seattle, WA.

You’ll lead sales efforts, collaborate with culinary and operations teams, and ensure every event is executed flawlessly while building strong, lasting client relationships. The role is an individual contributor position focused on completing specific tasks and projects, contributing directly through skills and expertise. Work is primarily achieved independently but may involve collaboration with a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead catering sales efforts to meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to design and execute flawless events.
• Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships.

• Showcase expertise in event planning, presentations, and client relationship management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in catering sales or event management with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
• Deep knowledge of food, wine, and menu development to create exceptional guest experiences.
• Understanding of food and beverage operations, financials, and sales processes.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Initiative, problem-solving ability, and a results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of related experience.

Pay

$80,168 – $107,230 per year. Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Salary offers are based on specific criteria such as experience, skills, education, and training.
