What You Will Do
- Lead the capture team responsible for delivering winning proposals in a “coach” capacity
- Lead individual captures and deliver winning proposals in a “player” capacity
- Manage or perform as a capture lead and win opportunities >$100M.
- Develop mutually beneficial partner relationships with teammates and vendors that deliver value to customers.
- Show excellent business acumen; strong understanding of Federal procurement, contracting, and financial rules and regulations.
- Diagnose client needs, propose and close solutions that have measurable and positive mission impact.
- Show exceptional strategic selling skills including discovery, ROI development and presentation, sales cycle maintenance, tactical planning and closing.
- Show solid leadership qualities and organizational skills in coordinating the sales cycle.
- Deliver outcomes in environments with fast-paced hard deadlines and extended work hours when needed.
- Establish, build, and maintain positive, professional relationships and interaction at all decision levels.
- Maintain a highly credible professional profile within the industry.
- Communicate issues, concerns, risks, and problems in a solution-oriented manner.
- Apply AI Tool Capabilities (OpenAI, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) in execution of capture activities.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client engagement and pursuit activities.
- Bachelor's degree and 16+ years of relevant experience
- Track record of managing or performing as a capture lead and winning opportunities >$100M.
- Proven track record of developing mutually beneficial partner relationships with teammates and vendors that deliver value to customers.
- Excellent business acumen; strong understanding of Federal procurement, contracting, and financial rules and regulations.
- Able to effectively diagnose client needs, propose and close solutions that have measurable and positive mission impact.
- Show exceptional strategic selling skills including discovery, ROI development and presentation, sales cycle maintenance, tactical planning and closing.
