DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Director, Business Platform Operations Support Lead, located in the United States (Raritan, New Jersey or Raynham, Massachusetts), Ireland, or Belgium.
About the role
The Business Platform Operations Support Leader will be part of the DePuy Synthes Supply Chain and Operations Systems and Digital organization. This leader will play a significant role in a multi-year global business transformation initiative that will modernize the end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities by:
- Harmonizing the disparate ERP ecosystem
- Standardizing core business processes and products across Plan, Source, Make, Quality, Deliver, and Data
- Enabling an integrated data strategy through an SAP S/4 HANA backbone
This role will be part of a platform business operations, enhancement, and improvement organization overseeing the ongoing evolution of the DePuy Synthes ERP platform, from deployment to long-term sustainability. The role will support core business platform support operations, working closely with business partners to enable ongoing awareness, adoption, and effective use of the platform.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and deployment of ongoing business user platform enablement and adoption for existing platform users.
- Ensure the existing ERP platform user community is engaged and aware of platform status, capabilities, changes, and enhancements.
- Support the platform enhancement and continuous improvement intake process from the platform user community and connect inputs into the solution design governance process.
- Partner closely with the operate state team and the global business adoption team to ensure the business platform community is aware of and ready to adopt platform enhancements and capabilities.
- Support a business super user forum to engage the platform Super-User Network and serve as a conduit of information between the business platform users and the MT TranSCend core team.
- Support globally standardized approaches to the ongoing sustainment of persona-based training curriculums leveraging the training platforms.
- Support a global persona-based security role design and maintenance process governed through robust design controls and governance.
- Help ensure smooth transitions between program deployment hypercare and operate state.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, or large transformation programs.
- Minimum of 6 years of Supply Chain experience.
- Preferred minimum of 6 years of ERP platform support and/or transformation experience in healthcare or health services.
- Strong knowledge of Orthopedics Supply Chain, including the complexity of surgery kits.
- Demonstrated hands-on project delivery experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence and collaborate.
- Strong customer focus (internal & external), including development and management of stakeholders.
- Certification in areas of expertise (e.g., PMP, APICS, Lean/Six Sigma/Process Excellence) is helpful.
- Ability to effectively support and participate in cross-functional decision-making bodies.
- Knowledge in deploying standardized work processes, tools, and templates.
- Experience managing project timelines and milestones in complex business environments.
- Skilled at engaging and building relationships with business stakeholders.
- Strong business and digital acumen, including ERP expertise.
- Experience working in a complex, multi-ERP/system environment.
Travel
Up to 25% domestic and international travel required.
Pay
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $150,000.00 - $300,000.00 USD annually.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate its Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
