Senior leadership role overseeing day-to-day setup and optimization of performance campaigns across programmatic, social, and search buying platforms for a fast-paced entertainment client.

Responsibilities

  • Master all major digital biddable platforms (programmatic, search, social), their product offerings, and activation best practices.
  • Hands-on campaign setup, pacing, and performance optimization across platforms and ad-serving operations.
  • Drive team excellence and thought leadership in search, social, programmatic, ad-ops, and tagging; create and circulate POVs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key digital partners; keep teams updated on first-to-market opportunities, tech, data, and regulation changes.
  • Lead upfront deals and negotiations (JBPs).
  • Design and execute best-in-class biddable media strategies that meet client objectives in search, social, and programmatic.
  • Quickly adapt to a fast-paced entertainment-client environment.
  • Guide campaign design, including success requirements and optimal platform use.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Planning to ensure efficient campaign setup, adjustments, and optimization.
  • Work with Strategy team to understand goals, address client needs, and communicate results and insights.
  • Implement Business Intelligence tools and new capabilities (e.g., new supply & data sources, media measurement techniques).
  • Oversee client budgets, set KPIs, and establish measurement frameworks.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, platform partners, and global colleagues.

  • Partner with MarSci Team to develop and implement Test and Learn agenda.
  • Provide thought leadership on Digital Activation’s role in the marketing ecosystem and a multi-year vision of the program.
  • Lead communication of Digital Activation’s tech/data needs with cross-functional partners (Product Management, Analytics, IT).
  • Manage costs while exceeding performance goals and maintaining quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with non-digitally centric teams.
  • Manage and mentor a large team of Digital Activation specialists across multiple markets, providing day-to-day guidance and career development.
  • Ensure team optimizes programs within budget and KPI goals.
  • Track industry innovation, evaluate and identify new partners and technology to drive best-in-class strategies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of digital experience, including at least 5 years managing, mentoring, and nurturing a diverse team in a fast-paced organization.
  • Entertainment-category experience preferred.
  • Technical, in-platform, and strategic expertise in programmatic, search, and social buying and activation.
  • Experience with Ad Technology stacks and implementation processes.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing technologies & tools (web analytics, tag management, ad servers, attribution).
  • Exceptional analytical skills and confidence acting on marketing data and insights.
  • Comprehensive biddable platform campaign setup knowledge (Google Ads, DV360, Amazon, Meta, TikTok, Snap).
  • Working knowledge of 3rd party verification tools, including IAS.

Pay

$90,000 – $215,000

Schedule

Minimum of three days per week in-office; some teams already require five days.
