Director, Brand Experience
Overview
The Director, Brand Experience serves as the media lead and partner to our client providing comprehensive media thought leadership. They help set the direction while driving new thinking and challenging the team and themselves to deliver innovative work for our client.
You will be working side by side with our client on a world-leading brand and category across US markets. You have the opportunity to build culture and lead a world-class pharma brand that brings people together!
This role works with an exciting, iconic brand gearing up to do big and impactful things! The right candidate will lead with credibility & confidence within a matrixed team and build strong client relationships with senior and junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Establish and build strong working relationships with senior level client contacts
- Work with the client to establish annual budget and staffing plan to best meet the needs of the client and agency
- Bring innovation and thought leadership to drive modern marketing solutions for our client
- Effectively and confidently balance the expectations and business goals of the client and agency
- Direct and nurture the development, presentation and maintenance of communication plans to build a competitive advantage including: insight development, innovation road maps, strategic initiatives, big but relevant ideas, updates, and point-of-views (POVs)
- Partner with internal teams to develop insights into brand extensions through evaluations and recommendations of cross-platform concepts; high degree of partnership across various areas/teams requires open and flexible collaboration style
- Manage and work alongside Directors on Planning and Investment to co-manage and mentor a team with varying levels of experience
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience with previous experience leading a large account and team
- Diverse client vertical experience in media planning/strategy highly preferred
- Agency media planning experience required
- Superior client service experience with proven ability to provide strategic media plans
- Experience across all media types (national, local, digital, direct, programmatic, shopper , etc.)
- Computer Skills/Software Knowledge: Microsoft Suite, Nielsen Suite, Kantar, IMS , Media Tools Flowchart Software,MediaOcean OS, R/F and Optimization Software, comScore, Prisma, Mbox, MRI/GfK, GWI, Tableau
- Ability to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordingly
- Agile, ability to solve problems
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to translate data into viable business solutions to enhance strategies and meet deliverables
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to lead team to deliver high-quality results

Compensation Range: USD $121,315.00 - USD $194,220.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
