Director, Anesthesia Operations

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Anesthesia Operations to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will provide regional leadership for anesthesia operations across multiple sites, with a strong focus on staffing, coverage, performance management, and operational oversight. The position will partner closely with medical leaders and hospital executives to align service delivery with clinical needs and growth objectives. It is a highly visible leadership role that supports compliance, reporting, and resource planning across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $127,191 – $188,277 annually Responsibilities Provide oversight and performance management for Anesthesia Operations Managers across sites Serve as the escalation point for operational issues requiring regional authority Own regional staffing and coverage strategy, including compliance oversight Collaborate with medical leadership to align anesthesia coverage with clinical needs Lead discussions on growth strategy with hospital and health system executives Develop and monitor performance metrics and report trends to leadership Support compliance and regulatory documentation across sites Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field required; Master's Degree preferred 7+ years of experience in healthcare operations, practice management, or facility administration 3+ years in a leadership role overseeing operational leaders at multiple sites Strong preference for anesthesia, surgical services, or perioperative experience Demonstrated experience partnering with hospital leadership on growth strategy and resource planning Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage 401(k) plan with company match Paid time off and holidays Professional development support Employee wellness resources Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
