Founded in 1996, Net at Work is one of North America’s largest technology advisors and solution providers for small and mid-size businesses. Our award-winning consultancy offers a rich portfolio of next-generation technology, industry expertise, implementation, and managed services to help organizations derive value from the transformative benefits of technology. Through the integration of ERP, HCM, and/or CRM solutions, Net at Work delivers unique, industry-specific solutions and operational platforms that enable companies to compete more effectively in today’s digital economy.

About the role

Most companies add AI to existing workflows, producing small gains and disappointment. This role takes the harder path: reimagining how work is done from the ground up. You will make Net at Work an AI-native company—across every business unit and shared service department. You will lead enablement, redesign workflows, deploy virtual workers, and deliver measurable operating leverage. This is an operating role that uses technology, not a technology role that touches operations. Success is measured in capacity created, cycle time reduced, quality improved, and margin gained—not tools deployed.

Responsibilities

  • Define what work looks like in three years and create the plan to get there.
  • Redesign core workflows around what AI makes possible, not just automating existing steps.
  • Build a digital workforce of virtual workers carrying real responsibility with real oversight.
  • Drive AI capability across the company: role-specific training, champions in every function, and adoption measured in actual use.
  • Set and achieve a measurable operating leverage target, with baselines and results validated by Finance.
  • Maintain the internal tool stack, standards, and use-case pipeline.

Requirements

  • Direct AI implementation experience: AI or automation work you personally led into production inside a real operating environment. This requirement has no substitute.
  • Real depth in applied AI: large language models, agentic workflows, automation, and integration. Ability to design solutions and advise stakeholders when an idea will not work.
  • Ten or more years in operations, transformation, consulting, or technology leadership, including change owned across an entire organization rather than one function.
  • Proven process redesign: mapping current state, designing improvements, and driving adoption by teams who did not ask for change.
  • Measurable operating results that Finance agreed were real.
  • Strong change management: influence without authority and credibility to bring skeptical departments along.
  • Willingness to work at an aggressive pace; the initiative is moving quickly and the schedule reflects it.

Helpful but not required: professional services or consulting background, ERP or CRM implementation experience, familiarity with EOS, or time inside a private-equity-backed company.

This job may require access to customer information, systems, and/or premises. Customer approval for such access may be an essential job function.
