Director, AI Transformation

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Legal & Accounting environment.

Compensation

$245,000 – $360,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead internal communications on AI and innovation initiatives, including leadership messaging and employee engagement
• Collaborate with Marketing to shape external communications regarding AI and innovation proposals
• Maintain consistent messaging across technology initiatives with firm leadership
• Represent the firm in legal innovation forums and industry events
• Develop enterprise-wide change management strategies for AI and knowledge management initiatives
• Oversee operational governance and performance tracking for Knowledge Management & Innovation department
• Manage the intranet and digital platforms, enhancing content governance and user experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, Law, or similar field; advanced degrees preferred
• 10+ years in communications, change management, or organizational transformation, with senior leadership experience
• Experience in law firms or professional services, with knowledge of stakeholder engagement
• Proven track record leading tech and AI transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for all audience levels, including executive leadership
• Experience managing intranet and digital workplace platforms with strategic oversight
• Familiarity with AI procurement and RFP processes in a legal context
