Director, Advanced Solutions
About the role
As a Director, Advanced Solutions in Last Mile at RXO, you’ll be responsible for developing and communicating standardized integrated solution offerings, vetting client solutions, and designing prior to final pricing submission and contract. You’ll work closely with various teams including business development, account management, project management, engineering, pricing, IT, and executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and document full suite of solutions offering, both operational, technical and support
- Tie solutions offerings to pricing structure
- Identify and solve emerging needs of clients, while strategically identifying opportunities to standardize
- Create clear, concise, and thorough solutions scope documentation that can translate into training material, legal schedules, marketing material, etc.
- Report weekly on progress of key initiatives
- Communicate and advocate for solutions design both internally and externally to clients during client meetings or business development initiatives
- Lead client-facing discussions and solutions collaboration
- Tie solutions design to emerging industry trends and cutting-edge solutions
Requirements
At a minimum, you’ll need a Bachelor’s Degree or work experience equivalent with 7 years of solution design, consulting, sales, or related experience, preferably in the transportation or technology industry. Advanced-level user of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
Complex solution development, including technology and multi-modal Customer-facing solution or sales experience, thorough knowledge of internal company software applications applicable to position/business unit.
Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead cross-functional teams, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
