Director of Advanced Technology

About the role

This strategic role leads the technology roadmap definition and technology development and integration to product development for WSD's proprietary in-house FBAR technology as well as other active device and packaging technologies. The focus is on maintaining a pace of relentless innovation, multiplying the benefits of new ideas and capabilities, and leveraging synergies of new technology and design capabilities to rapidly improve the state of the art and develop compelling products.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology roadmap definition and development for WSD's proprietary FBAR and other active device and packaging technologies.
• Integrate product design challenges into the direction of technology development.
• Participate in future-looking design architecture studies to define and support strategic business directions.
• Earn the respect and loyalty of both the direct team and cross-functional teams through demonstrated capability, dedication, and commitment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of overall experience, with at least 6 years in management.
• Deep technical expertise in BAW filters and other acoustic filter technologies.
• Strong understanding of companion technologies, including transistors (any material system), RF signal integrity, and packaging.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is USD 197,500 to USD 316,000.
