Director, Advanced Concepts

For our client, a leader in the Business Services space, we are seeking a Director of Advanced Concepts to turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor a team to produce innovative product designs
• Manage the pipeline from idea generation to prioritized innovation roadmap
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape innovation strategies
• Analyze lab tests and field data to explore product improvement opportunities
• Present the Innovation Roadmap to key internal stakeholders and adapt to feedback
• Drive alignment to integrate projects into product timelines and commercialization
• Build and maintain partnerships with external research organizations and suppliers

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, Textile Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in advanced product development, particularly in apparel and equipment
• Track record in managing diverse, high-performing teams of designers and engineers
• Proficient with modern product development tools like CAD and digital prototyping
• Strong project management skills with a focus on implementing innovation processes

Pay

$203,300 – $225,000 annually
