Director, Account Management

About the role
Fitch Solutions is seeking a Director, Account Manager based out of our New York office. This role is responsible for meeting an annual net sales target by growing client spend with Fitch Solutions through cross-sell or up-sell, building and retaining client relationships, and being an overall trusted advisor in our product suite.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed annual net sales target
- Meet or exceed expected KPIs
- Retain and grow current revenue
- Retain and grow client relationships
- Lead by example as a Senior member of the team through sales excellence, professionalism, and collaboration
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of client facing sales/account management/relationship management experience, preferably within the financial services sector
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proven sales track record of meeting or exceeding targets/KPIs
- Proven ability to create, maintain, and close a sales pipeline
- Knowledge of financial services and/or capital markets
- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A diligent work ethic with a results-driven attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent listening skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including demonstrable evidence of the ability to credibly interact with, and influence, senior level and C-Suite executives
- Team player – willing to “get your hands dirty” to meet a team goal

Pay
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $125,000 and $165,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.
Schedule
2 to 3 days a week in office required based on your line of business and location.
