Job Responsibilities
- Manages School staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans.
- Affirms the implementation of Company-provided curriculum, including coaching, communicating, and interpreting standards with teachers.
- Ensures the operation of the school complies with company and state licensing standards.
- Maintains an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents.
- Stimulates imagination, builds self-esteem, and helps children discover new things each day.
- Promotes the positive image of the company and plays a significant role in making the company a preferred provider of educational programs in the communities served.
- Recruits, selects, and retains quality staff.
- Achieves profitability for the company.
Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Meets state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
- Willingness to attain state mandated Director requirements.
- One to two years supervisory/management experience of at least six non-exempt associates; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.
