Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years old or older.
  • High school diploma required; experience working with youth (ages 11-17) preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to live onsite while on shift (3 days/nights in a row), including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

What Is a Multipurpose Home?

Multipurpose homes are structured residential facilities designed to help young men break the cycle of repeat criminal behavior. We work with Level II juvenile offenders, teaching them discipline, accountability, and life skills to help them succeed. MHC staff live and work in the home, providing round-the-clock guidance and mentorship to keep these teens on the right path.

  • Lead by example, teaching respect, responsibility, and resilience.
  • Maintain a safe and positive living environment.
  • Work closely with youth, families, and community partners to create long-term success plans.
  • Support daily activities, from schoolwork to life skills training.

What Do Direct Support Staff Do?

As a Direct Support Staff member, you’ll be a mentor, coach, and role model. You’ll provide structure, discipline, and support, helping young men build the skills and confidence they need to turn their lives around. Key Responsibilities:

$31,200+ (Based on education & experience)
