About the role
Join Family Care Solutions as a Part-Time Direct Support Staff and support individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities as they build independence, confidence, and life skills. Help them achieve everyday successes, try new things, and reach their personal goals. No prior experience is necessary—training is provided!
Responsibilities
- Help clients build personal safety skills
- Teach money-management skills
- Develop social and communication skills
- Create healthy lifestyle habits
- Assist with participation in community activities
- Support household and homemaking tasks
- Develop fine and gross motor skills
- Teach daily living and independence skills
- Assist in setting and achieving personal goals
Schedule
- Part-time, 10-15 hours per week
- Monday-Friday between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (flexible scheduling within those hours)
- Two weekends per month with flexibility to choose preferred weekends
Pay
Starting pay: $15.00/hour
