Direct Support Professional Substitute

Job Summary

Direct Support Professional staff function as members of teams responsible for the direct care and instruction of individuals living in community residential homes. Responsibilities include assisting and/or instructing individuals in activities of daily living, self-care, personal hygiene, medication administration, and safety skills. Assist individuals in attending and participating in community activities. Must have reliable transportation. No experience necessary, training provided.

Pay and Benefits

Pay: $18.29 per hour
Sign on Bonus: potential to earn up to $2700 in first two years of employment

Qualifications

• Candidates must be 18 years of age
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Have a current valid driver's license
• Willing to undergo background checks, in accordance with local laws/regulations
