Direct Support Professional Sr. 1 (GRNWD)

What You’ll Do

• Support everyday living: Assist with personal care, meals, medication, and overall health
• Encourage independence: Help individuals build skills like budgeting, social interaction, and community participation
• Be an advocate: Support individuals in reaching their personal goals and living life on their terms
• Lead the team: Mentor and support DSP staff, helping create a strong, reliable team environment
• Keep people safe: Ensure a safe, supportive setting while following best practices and guidelines
• Stay active in the community: Help individuals participate in local activities, events, and daily routines

Qualifications

• Commitment to respectful, person-centered care
• Bachelor’s degree, or Associate’s + 2 years’ experience, or 4 years’ experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required in this area)
• Ability to complete required certifications, including medication administration
• Experience in human services or team leadership preferred
