Essential Functions
- Provides assistance, support and guidance in Activities Of Daily Living (ADL'S)
- Promotes independence in domestic tasks (home chores, cleaning)
- Safeguards the health and security of individuals
- Maintains environmental cleanliness
- Supports transportation needs
- Encourages community living and integration
- Upholds individual's rights and supports their agency mission and vision
- Engages in positive, collaborative interactions and communication
- Contributes to the development and implementation of Ohio Individual Support Plans
- Documents health, safety, and wellbeing of individuals
- Administers medication and performs health-related activities as required
- Ensures punctuality and reliability
- May work additional shifts and holidays as needed
- Represents The Society professionally and collaboratively
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Age 18 or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Able to communicate in English verbally and in writing
- Obtain and maintain certification in Medication Administration, Health Related Activities, First Aid, CPR, PMT, and other required courses
- Valid Ohio Driver's License with a good driving record and appropriate insurance
