Direct Support Professional (Day Program)
Direct Support Professional positions are located in Sicklerville, NJ.
About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. You will ensure our individuals are safe and healthy while attending our day program, supervise and assist them in achieving daily living skills, and plan community-based activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in achieving goals for daily living skills, such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
- Supervise the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of individuals.
- Plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings for individuals.
- Schedule and transport individuals to and from the day program.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid non-provisional driver’s license.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
- Empathetic with a team approach to care.

Pay
Starting salary at $20.42 per hour, with increases based on education and experience.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.
