Direct Support Professional - OVERNIGHT

About the role

The role involves providing direct support services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming tasks
• Support with medication management
• Facilitate communication between clients and external service providers
• Ensure client safety and security
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Health Care Card
• Driver’s license (if required for transportation)
• Passing a criminal record check
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Pay
