About the role
Pride Manchester House provides support to individuals with severe emotional disturbances. The direct support professional role involves assisting these individuals with their daily care and welfare in a residential treatment facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily care and welfare of residents with severe emotional disturbances
- Support residents in maintaining a safe and healthy living environment
- Participate in team meetings to discuss resident progress and needs
- Provide companionship and engage in activities to promote socialization and emotional well-being
- Follow all facility policies and procedures
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Pass a background check and criminal history review
- Experience working with individuals with emotional or behavioral challenges is preferred but not required
