About the role

Pride Manchester House provides support to individuals with severe emotional disturbances. The direct support professional role involves assisting these individuals with their daily care and welfare in a residential treatment facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily care and welfare of residents with severe emotional disturbances
• Support residents in maintaining a safe and healthy living environment
• Participate in team meetings to discuss resident progress and needs
• Provide companionship and engage in activities to promote socialization and emotional well-being
• Follow all facility policies and procedures

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Pass a background check and criminal history review
• Experience working with individuals with emotional or behavioral challenges is preferred but not required
