About the role

The role involves providing direct support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on daily living activities, socialization, and health management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming tasks
• Support individuals in engaging in community activities and outings
• Monitor and assist with medication management
• Participate in regular health check-ups and follow-up care
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities

Skills

• Basic computer literacy
• First aid and CPR certification
• Knowledge of community resources and services
