About the Role

InReach is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) (Independent Contractor) to support a male individual with developmental disabilities in the Charlotte area (28270). The role includes providing Respite and Community Living and Support Services for 35-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and assistance in home living environments
• Help the individual identify and acquire valued social roles
• Facilitate community integration
• Help the individual develop healthy social habits
• Dispense medication and monitor dosages
• Transport and accompany the individual to and from day programs, work sites, and community activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Successfully pass a drug screen and background check
• One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred

Pay

• Respite: $16.07/hour
• Community Living and Support Services (CLS): $20.35/hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day (flexible)

Additional Contractor Details

This is an Independent Contractor position. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for direct deposits. Additional fees for Contractors include:
