About the Role

InReach is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) (Independent Contractor) for a female individual with developmental disabilities in the Charlotte area (28227). The role involves providing Respite, Community Networking, and Supported Employment Services for 32 hours per week.

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay

• Respite: $16.07/hr
• Community Networking (CN): $22.27/hr
• Supported Employment (SE): $23.07/hr

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and assistance in home living environments
• Help the individual identify and acquire valued social roles
• Facilitate community integration
• Assist in developing healthy social habits
• Dispense medication and monitor dosages
• Transport and accompany the individual to and from day programs, work sites, and community activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• One to two years of experience with the I/DD population preferred

Additional Contractor Information

This DSP position is an Independent Contractor role. Independent Contractors receive a 1099 tax form and use a third-party Contract Management vendor for direct deposits. Additional fees for Contractors include:
