Direct Support Professional - In-Home Respite

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Hattiesburg, MS.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily activities
• Offer emotional support
• Supervise community outings
• Support treatment plans in collaboration with clinical staff
• Assist with job exploration, application, and training individuals on job-specific duties
• Facilitate natural supports in the work environment to enhance independence
• Eat lunch and take breaks on site during work hours
• May provide transportation to and from facilities and activities in the community

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid MS CDL Class C Driver's License within 60 days of hire
• Valid Mississippi Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
• Will pass CPR, MANDT, and other required testing
