Locations

• Northern Virginia: Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington, Ashburn, Burke, Falls Church, Manassas, Springfield, Vienna, Woodbridge

Available Shifts

• Full Time
• Part Time
• Weekends

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor staff during shifts
• Provide direct support based on personalized care plans
• Communicate with families, guardians, and health professionals
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation and progress tracking
• Advocate for individuals at appointments and in the community
• Model professionalism and uphold CRi’s core values

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications:
• 2 years of hands-on experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Understanding of the unique needs and challenges associated with supporting individuals with IDD
• Familiarity with the Person-Centered Planning process
• Basic computer skills for documentation, communication and training purposes
• Ability to cook and manage household tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of at least 50% of DSP (Direct Support Professional) certification
• Ability to obtain DSP certifications within 90 days of employment

Working Environment

Indoor and Outdoor program site and various community locations.

Supervision

• Exercised Leadership responsibilities on shifts, including overseeing progress note review, documentation completion, and delegation of tasks.
• Serve as a supportive conduit for individuals and their families/guardians.

Proficiency

• Basic computer skills and the ability to facilitate home life meetings.
