Direct Support Professional ( DSP ) 17.75 - 20.75 / hr

About the role

Connections in Ohio is seeking an energetic and passionate person to provide supported living services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their Cuyahoga County homes. For over 27 years, we have been helping people with disabilities live a more independent life in their communities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting each individual reach personal goals or growth
• Transportation to community outings (Zoo, movies, grocery store, etc.)
• Meal Preparation
• Auxiliary with household cleaning
• Pass medication

Requirements

• 21 years or older
• High school diploma/GED
• Valid Ohio Driver License (4 points or less)
• Reliable transportation and Auto Insurance

• Competitive pay rate: DSP $17.75 per hour, no experience needed. 2nd shift (service hours of 3-11p) $18.75 per hour. DSP Float $19.75, experience preferred. 2nd shift (service hours of 3-11p) $20.75 per hour.

Schedule

• Part-time and Full-time positions available
• Shifts availability includes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift (wake and sleep)
• Candidate must provide availability at the scheduled interview that includes one weekend shift
