Direct Support Professional II (3099)
Pay: $20.50–$24.50 per awake hour (differentials apply based on location and qualifications); $17.50 per asleep hour. Cape-based programs offer a $1/hour differential. Martha’s Vineyard programs offer a $4/hour differential, except the Franklin Street program, which offers $3/hour. An additional $1/hour differential is available for employees with active MAP certification, except at non–Franklin Street programs on Martha’s Vineyard.
Schedule
Sunday 9 am–7 pm, Tuesday 3 pm–11 pm, Wednesday 2 pm–11 pm, Thursday 1 pm–9 pm. Mandatory staff meetings held monthly for a minimum of 2 hours; frequency may change based on program needs.

Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and care to individuals in a residential setting.
- Help individuals build independence by teaching life skills at home and in the community.
- Follow and implement Individual Support Plans (ISP) and Behavior Support Plans.
- Assist with personal care, medication administration, and health-related needs.
- Support individuals in community activities, relationships, and social connections.
- Accompany individuals to appointments and ensure overall health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation and data collection to track progress and outcomes.
- Take a leadership role by training and mentoring other staff.
- Assist with budgeting, shopping, and managing personal funds.
- Build strong, positive relationships with families, guardians, and team members.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
Requirements
- Ability to support individuals with daily living activities.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to treating all individuals with dignity and respect.
- High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET.
- Active US driver’s license issued from your state of residence.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
