About the role

Location: Methuen, MA (Group home setting)

• Full Time Schedule: 40 hours per week, Saturday - Sunday 9:00am - 9:00pm, Wednesday - Thursday 4:00pm - 9:00pm, Friday 3:00pm - 9:00pm
• Part Time less than 25 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 9:00am

Compensation: Non-exempt full-time/part-time positions, hourly rate $21.63. Union member to SEIU Local 509. Group Home Details: Assist individuals with ADLs, transportation, medication administration, and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Absorb and implement care plans to support individuals in achieving personal goals and promoting independence.
• Complete daily logs and notes, track behavioral data.
• Able and willing to assist with heavy lifting and driving wheelchair accessible company vans.
• Transport individuals to appointments, community events, or recreational activities.
• Able to assist with medication administration and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide companionship, mentorship, and redirecting behaviors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive residential program.
• Uphold individual’s rights, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
• Maintain the program’s staff to resident ratio, manage finances, provide home management, and redirect behaviors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in providing training, case management, and appropriate service delivery to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in the community.
• MAP (Medication Administration Program) Certification; training offered within 6 months of employment.
• CPR/First Aid; training offered within 3 months of employment.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing with a minimum of one year of driving experience.
