Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Dix Hills

Pay

$18 - $20 hourly.

Schedule

Part‑time schedule, weekdays and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one support in the home and community
• Help individuals achieve personal goals
• Encourage communication, socialization, and independence
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Document services and progress
• Follow agency and OPWDD requirements

Requirements

• Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred
• Experience with children or young adults preferred
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable, accountable, and punctual
• U.S. Citizen or valid work authorization
• Complete required paid DSP training after hire
