About the role
Location: Georgetown, MA (Group home setting)
- Current Openings
- Part Time Schedules: 25+ hours per week
- Part Time: Less than 25 hours per week
This position is benefit eligible as of date of hire.
Responsibilities
- Aid individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene assistance (toileting assistant/brief changing), bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, transferring, and meal preparation.
- Able and willing to assist with heavy lifting and driving wheelchair accessible company vans.
- Responsible for transporting our individuals to appointments, community events, or recreational activities.
- Complete Individual Support Plans (ISP) to support our individuals in achieving personal goals and promoting independence.
- Complete daily logs and notes, track behavioral data.
- Aid with medication administration and maintain accurate documentation, as required.
- Provide companionship, mentorship, and redirecting behaviors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive residential program.
- Uphold individual’s rights, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Maintain the program’s staff to resident ratio, money management, providing home management, and redirecting behaviors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Candidates must be able to read, write, and comprehend English to accurately follow care plans, document services provided, and communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Experience in providing training, case management and appropriate service delivery to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in the community.
- MAP (Medication Administration Program) Certification; training is offered by Waystone to acquire certification within 6 months of employment.
- CPR/First Aid; training is offered by Waystone to acquire certification within 3 months of employment.
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing with a minimum of one year of driving experience.
Qualifications

Pay
The hourly rate is $21.63. You will be a union member to SEIU Local 509.
