Direct Support Professional (DSP) Future Opportunity!
Responsibilities
- Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
- Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
- Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Providing personal care assistance.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served.
- A valid OH driver's license and car insurance.
- A Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
- Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs, and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

ViaQuest Residential Services provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Qualifications
At ViaQuest Residential Services, we welcome candidates without experience. We provide training! Those interested in starting a career in healthcare, gaining more experience in the IDD field, or pursuing a career as an STNA are also encouraged to apply. Nursing assistants and those without a degree are particularly welcome. Candidates of all ages (high school graduates - retirees) are considered.
