About the role
ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is a dynamic company dedicated to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults with brain injury. Founded over 35 years ago, we specialize in developing programs tailored to the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries, including post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues, and accident or sports-related head injuries.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care and hygiene
- Assisting clients in therapies
- Driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and other outings
- Providing minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote clients' success in daily living tasks, recreational activities, and vocational pursuits
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- A valid driver's license with responsible driving behaviors maintained
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Qualifications
- Diplomas from non-U.S. educational institutions must include professional documentation/evaluation demonstrating equivalence to U.S. educational requirements
Skills
- Comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients
