About the role
ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is a dynamic company dedicated to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults with brain injury. Founded over 35 years ago, we specialize in developing programs tailored to the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. Our services cover conditions such as post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues, and accident or sports-related head injuries.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care and hygiene
- Supporting clients during therapies
- Driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and other outings
- Maintaining client safety and ensuring their well-being
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- A valid driver's license with responsible driving behaviors
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Qualifications
- Comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Good physical stamina
