DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) - CHILDREN RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM (Avalon)

About the role

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide individualized support with personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and community outings. You will foster independence by helping individuals develop life skills and make choices, promote social inclusion by supporting participation in community activities, and serve as a positive role model, demonstrating empathy and patience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support with personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and community outings.

• Collaborate effectively with a supportive team of DSPs, supervisors, and families.

Requirements

• A valid NYS Driver's License for 18+ months with a clean driving history and successful completion of DDI's Transportation Orientation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
