Direct Support Professional (DSP)

About the role

Avancer Homes LLC is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join their team at the Persimmon CILA home in Genoa, Illinois. This position is ideal for those looking to gain experience in a behavioral health field or for individuals passionate about serving others.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care needs – all ADL’s
• Assisting with all household tasks, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning; maintain a safe and healthy home environment that encourages learning
• Monitor individuals and engage in redirection
• Document individual’s activities, concerns, and progress notes as required
• Participate in and out-of-home activities which may include driving company vehicles
• Provide an abuse and neglect-free environment at all times

Requirements

• DSP certified or the ability to become certified through Avancer Homes LLC's paid training
• At least 18 years of age
• Transportation to shifts
• Lift 50 lbs
• Pass a criminal background check

Pay

Starting Pay up to $16.00 - 25.00 based on experience.
