Direct Support Professional-DSP

About the role

At Home Living provides adult foster care in 4-bedroom residential settings. Our DSPs serve individuals with disabilities, advocating, supporting, educating, and caring for them. We aim to help our residents live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives within a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

- Cooking and cleaning - Activities of daily living - Medication administration and documentation - Socializing with residents (playing games, watching movies, going for walks, bonfires, etc.) - Attending appointments and outings with clients (shopping, movies, fishing, etc.) - Making a difference in the lives of others

Requirements

- Must be 18 years or older - Pass a Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) background study - Available to work every other weekend - Hold a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a clean driving record

Pay and Schedule

- Part-time hours available: 7am-3pm, 2pm-10pm - Every other weekend required - Flexible scheduling
