What You’ll Do

As a DSP, you’ll provide hands-on care and support to adults with developmental disabilities—helping them live full, meaningful, and independent lives. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting with personal care needs (bathing, hygiene, dressing)
• SUPPORTING meal preparation, feeding, and medication administration
• ENCOURAGING and ACCOMPANYING individuals on community outings and recreational activities
• PAYING attention to EMOTIONAL support and SOCIAL engagement
• MaintAINING a safe, clean, and SUPPORTIVE home environment

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• Valid driver’s license (fewer than 6 points)
• Current auto insurance
