Direct Support Professional - Community Habilitation

The role involves providing direct support services to individuals with developmental disabilities within community settings. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming
• Support with medication management
• Facilitate social interactions and community integration
• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Document progress and communicate with families and professionals

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications.
