About the role

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) position at HCRS offers a starting pay range of $20-$23.50 per hour, along with a generous sign-on bonus of $750. Employees also receive 4 weeks of paid time off (pro-rated), 12 sick days, and 9 holidays annually.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals living with developmental disabilities to achieve their desired goals and promote independence.
• Use creativity, caregiving, and people skills to assist individuals in their daily lives.
• Collaborate with persons served, their families, and other important individuals in their life, and colleagues in a supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Flexible schedule and positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges, or relevant transferable skills.
• A valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• A high school diploma or GED; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
