Direct Support Professional

About the Role

Traditional Home Care, a locally owned and operated home‑care agency, is seeking reliable, experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one‑on‑one, non‑medical support to individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, and related conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Provide companionship and appropriate communication/social skills support
• Perform light housekeeping and chores
• Ensure a safe environment and teach basic safety skills
• Help meet individual goals and outcomes
• Promote community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current driver’s license
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
• Comfortable using a mobile device (smartphone or tablet) for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and have reliable internet access

Pay

Competitive pay range: $15.00‑$18.00 per hour. Weekly pay with direct deposit.

Schedule

• Part‑time and full‑time options
• Shifts available on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Shift lengths: 12‑hour, 10‑hour, 8‑hour, or 6‑hour
