Direct Support Professional

Location: Honesdale, PA; Beach Lake, PA (also serves Hawley, PA and Carbondale, PA). Office: 1151 PA‑315 Suite A, Wilkes‑Barre, PA 18702.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide companionship and appropriate communication/social skills support.
• Perform light housekeeping and chores.
• Ensure a safe environment and teach basic safety skills.
• Help meet individual goals and outcomes.
• Promote community involvement through outings, activities, errands, etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP).
• Comfortable using a mobile device (smartphone or tablet) for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and have reliable internet access.

Pay

Competitive pay range: $15.00‑$18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time shifts available; flexible scheduling includes weekdays, weekends, day, night, and overnight shifts. Options range from 4‑hour to 12‑hour shifts, as well as after‑school and holiday coverage.
