About the role

Traditional Home Care is a locally owned and operated home care agency seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one‑on‑one, non‑medical support to individuals with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc. The position serves Bushkill, PA and surrounding areas; office located at 52 Highland Ave., Suite C, Bethlehem, PA 18017.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Companionship
• Appropriate communication and social skills
• Light housekeeping and chores
• Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
• Meeting individual goals and outcomes
• Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
• Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) as required by the 21st Century Cures Act
• Reliable internet access to log visits and track service hours
