About the role

The Center for Family Support (CFS) is an agency dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental and related disabilities. CFS is the first agency in New Jersey and New York to achieve the Council on Quality and Leadership Certification (CQL), demonstrating a commitment to improving services.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about helping others and offering genuine friendship.
• Create a supportive environment for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Develop and implement service plans based on person-centered philosophy.
• Protect the health and safety of individuals, including administering medications and reporting emergencies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
• Report any potentially dangerous situations and cooperate with investigations.
• Follow agency procedures for incident reporting and abuse reporting.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A valid driver's license, depending on program needs.
• Experience in healthcare or human services is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
