About the role

As a caregiver at Sevita you will help participants grow, learn, and live well by providing personal care, supporting developmental goals, and encouraging community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Provide support for individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Take initiative to help participants engage in community activities and enjoy their favorite pursuits.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure participant well‑being.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, multi‑tasking, teamwork, and time‑management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
