Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
  • Monitor client health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Support clients in engaging with their community through social activities, outings, and appointments.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients by providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress as required.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older (for insurance purposes).
  • Must have a valid state ID or current driver's license.
  • Must have a Social Security card for the background check.
  • No experience or certifications are necessary - we will provide all the training needed for the right candidates.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices, particularly in senior care and home community care settings.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Ability to monitor patients effectively, ensuring their health and safety at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
  • A compassionate approach to caregiving that respects resident rights and promotes independence.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
