About the role
Direct Support Professionals (DSP) provide caregiver assistance and support to the individuals that live at New Vista Oakwood’s beautiful campus-style setting. This includes participating in special occasions and community opportunities while always ensuring the safety, welfare, and the preservation of rights of clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide caregiver assistance and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Participate in special occasions and community opportunities
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and the preservation of rights of clients
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license, reliable operating transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
- Ability to meet criminal background, drug screening standards

Pay
Starting pay for DSPs is $17.83 per hour; $18.40 if you have your CNA, CMA or associate’s degree; $18.96 if you have a bachelor’s degree.
