Direct Support Professional
About the role
We are seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team at our program in Vineland, NJ. This is an immediate opening for those interested in advancing their careers while working with an extraordinary team.
Responsibilities
- Create long-term impacts on individuals' lives
- Encourage, mentor, and coach others to achieve their goals
- Spend days in various settings, making memories with our individuals
- Follow Individual Support Plans to engage in activities like the park and sensory gardens
- Assist with daily hygiene and personal care
- Teach individuals to navigate daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- High School diploma/G.E.D. (verifiable)
- Experience in a home health aide setting or school setting with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities (preferred)
- A strong desire to help others reach their fullest potential
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – paid training provided
- Paid starting rate: $18.13/hr or $20.13 with Enhanced Pay
