About the role

The role involves providing direct support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on daily living skills, socialization, and health management.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in activities of daily living
• Facilitate social interactions and community integration
• Monitor and promote health and wellness
• Document progress and communicate with supervisors and families

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Ability to pass a background check and criminal history review

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities

Skills

• Basic computer literacy
• First aid and CPR certification
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and support services
