Direct Support Professional - Arnold Full Time Evening Shift

About the role

Pony Bird, Inc. is looking for Full Time Evening Shift Direct Support Professionals to empower individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Responsibilities

- Encourage independence while providing necessary supports. - Assist in achieving personal goals set by residents/individuals. - Help prepare meals, maintain a comfortable living environment, engage in community activities, and stay connected to family and friends. - Work toward supporting residents/individuals in making choices that are important to them.

Requirements

- High School diploma or GED. - At least 21 years old. - Reliable transportation. - Good interpersonal communication skills. - Ability to follow oral and written directions and problem solve. - Patience, sensitivity, and a positive attitude towards persons experiencing severe to profound developmental disabilities. - Quick and calm response in emergency situations. - Basic computer skills including data entry and word processing. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay & Schedule

Starting pay of $18.00 per hour. Evening shifts receive a differential of $2.00, midnight shifts receive a differential of $2.50, and weekend shifts receive a differential of $2.00.
